What we collect
When you request a quote: name, phone, email, address and location of the work, property type, photos, dimensions, description and availability. Photos are resized in your browser before sending, which removes their GPS location.
Why
To assess the work, prepare and follow up on your quote, schedule the job, invoice and communicate with you. We do not sell your information. Your photos and address are never published without your agreement.
Who has access
Only authorized people at Asphalte Marquize, according to their duties. Our technical providers also process some data for us: Netlify (hosting and files) and Neon (database), and depending on the features used, our email provider and Stripe (online payment).
Outside Québec
Your information may be stored outside Québec, including in the United States, with these providers.
Map and address search
What you type in the address search is sent to Photon and Nominatim (services based on OpenStreetMap) to find the place. Map backgrounds come from OpenStreetMap and Esri, and fonts from Google: these services receive your IP address. Your location is only used if you tap “locate me”.
Cookies and analytics
The public site only uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics) if you accept them. You can change your mind with the “Cookies” link in the footer. Your display preferences are kept in your browser.
Retention
We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, including tax obligations for invoices and payments.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, have it corrected or withdraw your consent. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
